The RUN for SALVADOR is a 5K RUN and WALK to benefit Nuestro Ahora's work in some 20 orphanages throughout El Salvador where more than 1,000 children reside.  The Run for Salvador will take place on Saturday, July 24, 2010 and will start at 9:00AM sharp.  Check us out on Facebook.

The Run for Salvador will be held at the picturesque Whiting Reservoir nestled high upon scenic Mount Tom in Holyoke, Massachusetts in the heart of the Pioneer Valley.  The 5K/3.1 mile course consists of well-marked, shady trails looping around the pristine waters of Whiting Reservoir.  The flat, fast, runner-friendly course takes runners on a peaceful, yet exhilarating tour of a pine forest and features a dramatic, break-away homestretch for the finish.  The course is the home course of the Holyoke Catholic High School Lady Gaels and has been run by many of Western Massachusetts' finest youth runners over the years.  Run for Salvador offers a classic, New England cross-country race experience. Click here for a map from Google and to create your own personalized directions.
